Marlin Costello is a Fresno lawyer who has had an interest in Model Railroading for several years. In 1999, he moved into
a home with a detached building large enough to accommodate just about everybody's dream layout. In 2000, after
a year of planning, he started building the layout you see here in pictures. You see him sitting in front of the command station.
His layout operates using the Digitrax DCC power system. There is track detection so a dispatcher can control the flow of traffic. The individual engineers use radio-controlled throttles to operate their trains. Marlin's layout has been the site of several NMRA meetings. He invites any of you that are interested to come by to see his layout. The evening sessions he has during the week change nights so please call 243-9291 to inquire which evening. The sessions are from 7:00pm-9:00pm and the address is 1125 E. Holland (2 blocks north of Ashland and 3 blocks east of Blackstone). Please call 243-9291 before coming. |
